Harbour Agency Presents Skyscraper Stan and The Commission Flats Debut Album Launch Tour – ‘Last Year’s Tune’

Just got into the swing of 2015? Let troubadour rock and roll legends Skyscraper Stan And The Commission Flats take you all the way back to 2014 with the launch of Last Year’s Tune, the band’s spectacularly long-awaited, Pledge-funded debut album. To celebrate, Stan and the Flatties will be launching the album at the venerable Port Fairy Folk Festival before heading off around the countryside to bring the wicked goodness of Last Years Tune to all.

Recorded at Melbourne’s Woodstock Studios and mastered in New York City by Greg Calbi, Last Years Tune is 11-track’s worth of Stan Woodhouse’s finest songwriting. Evocative, heart-felt and totally good fun, Last Year’s Tune will get your troubadour rock and roll on like no other album of this year, last year or any year at all.

Here’s what Sydney Morning Herald had to say about ‘roots revellers’ Skyscraper Stan And The Commission Flats:

“Some came to hear established chart-toppers but most dipped their toes into unfamiliar waters too. QMF has a knack of introducing the “next big thing” as it’s about to break. Adelaide rapper Tkay Maidza has made serious waves since launching last year. Fans lined up waiting for others to exit as the packed Pavilion heaved to her beats. The historic Vue Grand Hotel was similarly cosy during gigs by Charles Jenkins and roots revellers Skyscraper Stan and The Commission Flats. Festival director Andrew Orvis noted plenty of buzz around the latter – a  typical QMF revelation.”
