16MM LAUNCH WRAP AND GIG TONITE!

16MM LAUNCH WRAP AND GIG Saturday 4 November

Yo Music Lovers:

Here’s a message from 16 Millimetre:

Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate the EP launch. It was bigger, louder and more ravishing than anyone could have imagined. Special thanks to; Jess The East’s in-house engineer who took the brakes off and let the band explore the full intensity of 16mm’s sound, Xavier 16mm’s lighting tech inspired an outbreak of seizures and Ben the miscellaneous merch boy who recalled Tom’s past excursions in This Machine.

Oh yeah… and thanks to the anonymous person who grabbed the official band-cam for filming the night. Anyone with a fetish for Cara’s ankles and her delicate pedal action can get 20 minutes of uncensored footage. It’s a little disturbing. If your memory of the night is a little shady, virtual memories are now up at http://www.myspace.com/sixteenmillimetre.

This Saturday 4th November, 16 Millimetre is giving you the chance to prove that Australians are not disengaged from the Real Issues and that political fights are not solely reserved to men in flannies who like sausage sizzles. It’s time to ..Rock For Your Rights At Work.. with fellow belligerents David Bridie, D.Rogers, The Disappointments, Sime Nugent, Monique Brumby & Bom. Nov 4 at the Grand Central in Melbourne town. 16mm are on early 8.15pm.

So this Saturday rally your support, throw your fist up in the sky and bring a long neck. If fact if anyone who comes actually brings an empty Melbourne Bitter long neck they will get a 16mm badge and the first one through the door will get a drink on the band.
