The Third Sound and The Underground Youth have announced a limited run of Victorian tour dates, bringing their hypnotic, nocturnal sounds to stages this April.
Both bands are based in Berlin — a city whose creative energy echoes through their music. Occupying a shared psychic space where post-punk, psychedelic rock and gothic romanticism blur into something completely immersive, this tour marks a rare convergence of two deeply atmospheric live acts.
The Third Sound, led by Icelandic-Italian songwriter Hákon Aðalsteinsson -(also a member of The Brian Jonestown Massacre) fuse psychedelic and post-punk grooves into shadowy, hypnotic soundscapes. Their swirling guitars, pulsing rhythms, and moody vocals create live shows that are dark, immersive, and driving.
The Underground Youth, the long-running project of Craig Dyer, craft cinematic post-punk steeped in reverb, longing and existential tension. Known for performances that feel closer to ritual than spectacle, the band continues to command a devoted global following drawn to their stark beauty and emotional weight.
Together, The Third Sound and The Underground Youth promise intimate, restless performances and they’re not afraid to invite you into the darkness.
